We want your dog's visit to Dog Tales Daycare Even though staying at an unfamiliar place may make your dog nervous, there are things that can help ease the transition. We have everything your dog will need during their stay. If you would like to bring something from home please check out a list of accepted items to bring.

Meet Mica Dog Training's Lead Trainer, Nancy Liebhauser! Nancy is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Nancy continuously seeks out professional development by keeping current on industry literature and attending several dog training and behavior seminars each year. She has attended seminars by top trainers including Suzanne Clothier, Pat Miller, Nicole Wilde, Sarah Kalnajs, Roger Abrantes, Leslie McDevitt and Susan Salo. Nancy brings a wealth of experience to Mica Dog Training with her experience in teaching obedience and agility classes, including puppy behavior/socialization.
When not helping clients work with their dogs, Nancy can be found training and teaching tricks to her own pack of dogs, which includes 3 rescue dogs. She has seen how positive training has helped her own dogs and wants to help others achieve their goals as well.
Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Class
We'll cover the skills needed to have a polite dog that you can take places with you. The skills on the Canine Good Citizen test include
polite greetings, handling by friendly strangers and passing other dogs on leash. The CGC test will be offered at the end of the session.

Basic Manners Class
Our Basic Manners Class is for puppies and dogs of any age and focuses on basic good manners which include, polite greetings, loose leash walking, coming when called, sit, drop it, down and stay.

S.T.A.R. Puppy/Puppy and Adult Basic Class Combined
Get your puppy or dog off to a great start with our basic class! Well cover practical skills to help with jumping, chewing, and overall
polite manners. Skills learned will include sit, down, stay, come when called and drop it.
* Class runs for 6 weeks and cost is $165
Tricks and Games 101
Does your dog know the basics of sit, down, stay and come and you are looking for something fun to do together? Our Fun and Games class utilizes tricks and games to improve your dog's responses. We provide competitive and non-competitive activities such as nose games, musical downs and relay races. We also include teaching your dog to go to his place and hand targeting to teach a variety of tricks.
*Class runs for 4 weeks and cost $100
Dog Sports 101
Our Dog Sports 101 class gives dogs and handlers a taste of two popular dog sports, Rally and Agility. Handlers will have a chance to try out these sports in a short 4 week class. Students and dogs will be introduced to basic rally signs and some agility equipment.

Walking Rover
Want to have a dog that's fun to take on walks in the beautiful weather? This class focuses on practical skills and is intended for dogs new to training and dogs needing a training refresher. Skills covered will be those needed for an enjoyable walk and include loose leash walking, polite greetings, polite behavior around other dogs, leave-it, down-stay.
*Class runs for 3 weeks and cost $100.

At a Paw Party, your dog celebrates their special day playing with the other daycare dogs. We will host the party, provide provide goody bags for all dogs that attended and post photographs of the special event on our website. You will get a copy of photos e-mailed to you. Paw Party - FREE!
The Canine Carnival includes all services in the Paw Party but also includes fun party activities with all the dogs in your dog’s playgroup, like bubble popping and party hat tag, as well as games like bobbing for biscuits and balloon fetch. Canine Carnival - $25.
All birthday parties must be reserved at least one week in advance.
The Bow-Wow Bonanza is the ultimate dog party celebration. You can invite up to 10 of your dog's best friends and rent our training room for the big event. You and the other dog owners are in total control. You stay and watch the dogs run, play, and socialize. Terms and conditions apply. Bow-Wow Bonanza - $65/2 hours.

Have your dog jog a two-mile run with one of our experienced dog runners through the serene neighborhoods that surround our daycare. This option includes a warm up and a cool down. Running is a wonderful solution for dogs that need to shed a few pounds or have that extra bit of energy that doesn't seem to go away. - $30/run
15 minutes of one-on-one time with your dog with one of our canine massage therapists. We massage and stretch your dog's muscles. Even the most energetic dog enjoys a massage and usually calms right down. Add a canine massage to your reservation today. $10 for a 15 minute massage.
Have an early appointment or a late night at work? Have us pick your dog up and bring them to daycare or drop them off afterward. Must be scheduled in advance.
